Album Notes
Luisito Rosario is a youthful, experienced singer who
possesses sensual good looks and a commanding stage
presence. He came into the world with a bang on July
4, and was raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, home to
the one and only Frank Sinatra. For Luisito, the Latin
music flowing across the Hudson from New York
inspired the natural musicality of his Puerto Rican
blood. Luisito eventually moved to the city of
Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he now lives and
focuses on his musical career.

Luisito's first recording in 1995 with Pennsylvania
group Sol y Mar showcased salsa, cumbia and
merengue originals and classics. Soon after the CD
release, New York got word about this talented singer,
and in 1996 the legendary Larry Harlow, from the
Fania All-Stars, hired him as a vocalist for his
orchestra. In 2002 Luisito recorded "Tumba Y
Bongo" in Larry Harlow's 35th Anniversary album,
which is scheduled to be released in 2003. He also
recorded all the background vocals together with
Nestor Sanchez. Luisito still makes appearances with
Harlow's "Latin Legends Band," and provides lead
vocals for the collaborative project "¡Sofrito!" with
story teller David Gonzalez.

Also in 1996, Luisito joined popular salsa band "Grupo
Hechizo," and recorded lead vocals on their 1998
recording, "Sin Limites," which charted in the Top Five
of the New York Record Pool. As Hechizo's
bandleader and lead vocalist, Luisito continues to tour
the Caribbean and Northeast regions of the US with
the group. Luisito's popularity took off in 1998, when
Los Hermanos Moreno invited him to tour Europe and
the United States. He also appeared during their
"Amor Total" support tour in 2000.

In 2001 Luisito teamed up with Mambo City Music,
Ltd and launched his first solo career with a recording
that showcases his salsa roots. The record includes
arrangements by Cuto Soto (Marc Anthony), Lucho
Cueto (Tito Nieves) , and the late Martin Arroyo ( Los
Soneros del Barrio)

Today after his first solo promotional Tours from
Europe to the U.S, Luisito has won the devotion of new
fans worldwide.

Sensual Salsa with a dancers twist!...Recommended
There is Salsa Dura, Salsa Romantica, and then there is Luisito Rosario’s self titled debut solo album right in the middle. With all the experience gained from working with Grupo Hechizo and the classic Larry Harlow, Luisito created a perfect blend of Salsa that would appeal to the romantic and dancing audience. The opening track ‘Jurame’ is a perfect example of the aforementioned music styles with an old school twist. This album has a refreshingly different sound that most will find appealing. Recommended tracks: Jurame, Cronica De Un Viejo Amor, Yo Tambien Soy Sentimental, La Vi Caminando, and Soledad.
