Album Notes
The second formal solo release, this album rocks/sways with abundant harmonies, layerings, and experimental changes with curious melodies. The instrumentation consists of both electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, moog, air organ, a drum kit, tambourine, the sounds of hands clapping, and many vocal layerings. Lyrically you'll find the majority of the content to be about a cry for an understanding of who god is and who i am, and how that whole thing works. i was raised a christian, and during the years of this record, i completely hit the reset button, and began a searching for a truth a new. searching for answers... this album reflects the struggle for finding answers in the midst of a superficial world and illustrates the every-day life in a new and refreshing way.

p.s. feel free to visit for more info about who i am, what i am up to, and for a few full new songs for free! Ciao!

i was talking to a friend about this album the other day. i was explaining to him how sometimes i would create the songs from an initial drum track then add guitars and bass and begin to structure the song with melodies and little highlights and then i would reach a point where it was time to add the vocal track; i would grab my journal flip through the last few pages and begin to sing about whatever i was thinking about then. it is just interesting how out of years of journaling only a few pages actually get to become song words on an album. anyways like i said feel free to visit my myspace page or send me an email at i explained to him that a song is like a loaf of bread that it starts with a dough starter and as we work on it we knead it more and more eventually getting the airbubbles out and adding spices as we knead it more. some of these pieces are more kneaded than others are.

very good, creative and interesting.
hey, this is some really good stuff. i can really hear the radiohead influence. i like your subtle obscurities, and randomness. this is a great cd. thanks.

luke plays every single instrument on this album. on top of that, he does it well. and on top of that, he's a great friend. this album has nice harmonies and good rhythm and mellow tunes with a little bit of rocking and a whole lotta class. i love luke.

Your music is relaxing and provoking at the same time. I like it.

Calming inspireing and meaningful!!
I enjoy Lukes latest work be careful what you do with your time. The harmonies are tight and very smooth. the rythems are right on. and the intellect is deep and smooth. I hope Luke continues to produce and perform so I can catch him in person somewhere.

Luke's dedication shows in the MUSIC...
In a time when music generally sucks and is overridden with precontructed "pop" and (c)RAP, this album, careful where you put your time, is a testament to those who still write, create, and arrange original music that is uncompromised. This CD is living proof that more talent lies outside of the corporate controlled music scene than within.

Buy it and find your self inspirted...I know that I am...

The awesome-ist cd ever
I find myself singing some random song from this album, almost daily. Luke is a great inspiration to the music industry, which seems now to be consisted of unoriginal songs. This is the kind of music that not only calms me down, but also gets me in a great mood.

LUKE'S fans stretch out to Kansas
I have been listening to Luke's music for about a year and a half now. I have rough versions, finished versions, and I go through addictive periods with all of them. Today I'm leaving for Israel, and will be taking his 1st ablum with me to show off to my friends. The spirit of the music is very unique, and his lyrics cover an aray of challenging issues. Needless to say - he's a nice person on top of being an excellent musician!

very impressed
Amazing is right! I am so glad that I bought this CD. I know good music, and this album is so innovative and captivating. I am scout for a record label on the east coast, and I am going to contact LUKE about maybe doing some work together. This is a very interesting indie rock album. I am very excited about this CD.

very creative songs. i really enjoyed listening to this album. all the changes and variances kept my attention to the very end. creative and catchy melodic hooks, done in a very unique and indie way. good music for a party, to study to, or just for you and your girlfriend. this is music that you can relate to and it will grow on you.
