Album Notes
Anne\'s second CD, \"Shine\", is a portrait of a maturing heart before God. She has taken the tough and the gracious from the Lord and poured out a collection of songs that glorify God for both. Still bearing some of the Celtic feel she is known for, \"Shine\" also reaches into new directions musically and lyrically. Some of the newness can be attributed to the contributions of the talented group who supported her, most notably the cutting edge sounds of Baumer, of Eyeball Records.

Another winner for the "heavy rotation" pile
Another winner for the "heavy rotation" pile! I've been waiting a long time for a followup to Anne's beautiful CD "Live Through Me." The new CD, "Shine," does not disappoint! Anne's CDs live in my "heavy rotation" pile, and I have a special playlist just for her on my iPod. That says A LOT, since I am a musician myself and have a huge collection of everything ranging from Gregorian chant to metal, major label to unknown indie. Anne's music nourishes my soul and my faith AND pleases my ears in a very satisfying way with its polished sound and variety of flavors and textures. There are songs for times of jubilation, quiet worship, and humble gratitude. These are songs that I love to sing along to. My praise band at church has used a number of her songs (with her permission). As with her first CD, "Shine" combines beautifully written songs and Anne's magical vocal delivery with a number of talented instrumentalists and extraordinary studio production. I have purchased several copies of both CDs and always love opportunities to share them as gifts.

I have been listing to Christian music for over 40 years. But there has never been an album (sorry about dating myself)/CD that has bless me as much as this CD. I have been asked which my favorite song is, well it is hard to pin down. I do know this I have never wept more nor had my soul blessed more than when listening to Shine.

I enjoyed the CD so much that I included it with all the Christimas cards I sent out.

Anne, hurry up and cut your next CD.
