Magaly is a sensational R&B vocalist whose performance continues to captivate audiences across the New York Metropolitan area. A-Train Production has developed Magaly to be the best she can be and has helped her get on, New York City’s # 1 radio station, 107.5 WBLS news commentator, Ann Trip, after witnessing Magaly’s robust performance, announced to fans “Remember the name, Magaly, you are going to see her around.” Magaly sings from the heart and reaches the hearts and souls of all who have seen her spread her love through music.
Magaly has been around music for as long as she can remember; she was raised and surrounded by a multi-talented family of entertainers. Her late grandfather, Vicente Prado played Sax with Latin legends, Celia Cruz, and Tito Puente. Her mother was also a musician, while her father was a famous DJ in New York City.
Magaly has performed with many bands, including opening up for the legendary groups, Ray Goodman & Brown, Black Ivory, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, the Persuaders, the Lime Lights, and Alexander O’Neal. Magaly secured a role in the movie, American Gangster, which starred Denzel Washington; and performed for VH1 Divas, supported by Sony Music Group.
Magaly’s Tribute to Legend “Phyllis Hyman” may be one of her most invigorating and captivating performances to-date. When Magaly graces the stage to perform her Phyllis Hyman Tribute, her fans go crazy and love her all the more.
Magaly is signed with A-Train Productions Entertainment Company, who’s Executive Director, A.B. Peterson, and VP of Operations, Al Levene works very hard to assure that Magaly gets adequate studio time to develop and cultivate her vocal skills and stage presence. Since working with A-Train Productions, Magaly has accomplished her debut album titled, “I Found Love” and just released her second album, titled, “Stories Untold.” That was released in July of 2012 for all to here and her single “Bet You Magaly Wa”
