The young MAMASITA started in 2004 in Cesena (northern Italy), when a group of italian guys,living in the same area, decided to work together on this musical project.
They were attracted and influenced by "heroes" like Bob Marley, jamaican 60's rocksteady-ska, Manu Chao and the italian singer of the 70's.
The result MAMASITA style was a combination of these musical genre, called "mezcla" (reggae, ska, rumba, salsa, blues and rock) going towards italian, latin and caribbean melodies. The lyrics are in italian, spanish and english.
The age is between 22 to 25 years old. During 2005 the band contacted Tam Tam Studio to record a demo for the band, the energy, the freshness and powerful live sound convinced us to produce the record.
So on, the first album realized is "PER BUONA SORTE", the debut album.
Band leader, is the singer Alessio Fabbri (Hailè), singer, guitar player and composer.
The band is centered by a powerful rythmic session (Davide Zozzi on drums, Enrico Massari on bass, Davide Salghini percussions), a versatile and refined guitar player (Alessandro Medri) and a brass section directed by Ettore Bravaccini on saxophones.
