Originally from Cuba, Manuel has studied 8 years classical guitar at the National School of Arts in Havana, he has also finished 6 years of Music Theory and Solfege, 6 years of Music History, 2 years of Harmony, 5 years of complementary piano, and 2 years of Choir Direction.
He has worked as a music teacher in Cuba and Germany and is currently teaching in private and public schools in Palm Beach county, Florida. In a 30 year period Manuel has played classical guitar professionally in Cuba, Finland, Germany, Puerto Rico and the U.S. He has worked for several cruises lines, i.e.: Carnival, Discovery, Costa Cruise Lines. In Florida, Manuel performed at The Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, and has also played at the Kravis Center, Governor's Club, Flagler Museum, Pineapple Grille, Boheme Bistro, Clematis Bookstore, Coffe Gallery Cafe; Fountainbleau Hilton, Seville Hotel, DiLido, Trymor, Fairmont, Boca Raton Resort and Beach club, etc.
Throughout the years his repertoire has been enriched by the addition of all times audience preferred songs. That's how it has come to his classical guitar the music of Gypsy Kings, Carlos Santana ,Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Carlos Antonio Jobim, Pink Floyd, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, Ottmar Liebert, James Taylor, The Beatles, The Police, etc., and Caribbean rithms such as Reggae, Calipso, Merengue, Salsa, Rumba and many others.
