ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born and Raised in Dinxperlo, The Netherlands Marc Boland (April 21st, 1990) has always been passionate about music. Ever since he was a little kid Marc had the urge to entertain people and years later that is still his biggest passion. After Joining two metal bands “Sinisterum” and “Fangor” he found out what he wanted to do most, being a musician that is. After Marc left the metal scene he changed his look and style of music. From metal to pop/rock which he felt as fitting him better. Marc started writing his own songs variating from emotion ballads to powerful rock songs. Marc writes music with emotion and meaning which people can relate to.

Now a days Marc is busy writing songs himself and with a little help from his band members. Which have already lead to some amazing compositions. Marc is also busy with recordings of his new single which will be released soon. In 2012 Marc joined a competition by one of the biggest Dutch radio stations in Holland called Radio 538 and was selected to perform on a gig for charity event War Child. Marc joined the event by singing Heartbreak Warfare by John Mayer.

"Edwin Evers (Radio 538): I couldn’t hear the differences between your voice and John Mayer’s voice in your version of Heartbreak Warfare. Your voice sounds so similar."

Soon after that whole adventure the next one showed up. Marc got contacted by The Voice of Holland with the good news of being selected for the auditions. After his audition Marc wasn’t selected for the live shows and the story of The Voice stopped. Will he give this adventure a second try?!

Marc will not give up his urge to achieve his goals and hopes that you all will keep on supporting him so that he can share the music which he hopes everybody can enjoy listening to and maybe even relate to.
