ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mariana Masetto – Soy libre (I am free)

A window opens towards the “open field” letting the art of Mariana fly with wings of freedom. Such is the spirit that lingers in her second album.

The magic in her voice leads us into a journey through Latin America, describing emotions that evoke love, heartbreak, desire, joy, amazement or thoughtful reflection.

Halfway along this journey, her music carries us across the sea to discover, for a moment, the continent that has given us so much with its African rhythm. This rhythm, which comes from a faraway time and is still present in the shape of songs, connects each track of this album through the beating of the drums and other percussion instruments.

This journey lead by Mariana is filled with new textures: the sensibility of Sonia Alvarez playing the harp and the backing profound sound of Lucas Bianco at the bass guitar. They joined this journey to make it even more powerful.
