ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
Mariela Condo is a young singer from the province of Chimborazo, in Ecuador. She comes from the indigenous Puruhá culture. Her musical studies include the National Music Conservatory, and the Institute of Contemporary Music, at San Francisco de Quito University, part of Berklee College of Music's International program. She presents sounds, images and music from Ecuador's Andean region, brought up to date using both traditional elementsas well as the new sounds and approaches of today's music.
