ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These are a few of my favorite mantras. I love chanting them and had a blast recording them. Each mantra has a unique purpose, and you can find the translation along with the track. I decided to name the album Akaljas, which means undying one who is ever-singing the praises of the divine. Akaljas is the spiritual name given to my wife and I through our connection to Kundalini Yoga, and it also happens to be my aim in life to manifest its meaning.

CREDITS:
Sat Nam, Namaste and Aloha! I give thanks to the Infinite Creative Consciousness. I'd like to thank my wife, Vanice Akaljas Medley for lending me her ears when mine were tired, for lending me her voice when mine wasn't sweet enough, and for encouraging me to keep playing. I wouldn't be playing music at all if it weren't for my parents letting me get loud in the garage and shelling out the cash for guitar lessons, so thanks! I'd also like to thank Chanti Tacoronte-Perez for adding her voice to 'Aad Guray Nameh'.
