ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With this 2011 release, Martin Ball once again showcases his diverse musical styles and explorations. Try "Awaken, Oh Monks" and "Ascending the High Temple" for a more Asian and mystical sound. "Mobius Strip," "Hunting the Dark Star" and "Beyond Flesh and Bone" brings out Martin's darker/alternative side, reminiscent of one of his early influences, The Cure. Catch the reggae vibe with "Infectious Starlight" and "That's Right!" For whimsy, give "A Breath of Fresh Air," "Syrup of Wahoo" and "Climax of the Absurd" a listen. And the album is rounded off with the dramatic symphonic piece of "Lost in Thought" and the New Age vibe of "Along the Edge of Eternity." Kaleidoscopic takes you on a journey, so turn up the sound, turn the lights down low, and let your imagination soar with this captivating collection of (mostly) instrumental songs.
