ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A three-piece out of Copenhagen, Denmark making angular and catchy tunes. Touched by sounds from the present and the past, but forging their own path, regardless of scenes or trends. The songs appear as intense, challenging and melodic structures, with disregard for songwriting rules.

Marvins Revolt started out as a quartet in 2002 and released their first piece of rock in 2004. It was noisy and aggressive. They played shows in just about every town in Denmark and the music developed into the more complex sound of their debut album, Fell in Love with Tanks & Satellites, released in 2006.

In late 2006 the band reformed into a trio. Music wise the reformation resulted in a less noisy, more complex but yet more melodic approach, and Killec is the fresh and exciting sound of a new-born collective.

The release of Killec is being followed up by touring action around Europe.

Marvins Revolt mutates into a four-piece monster when playing live!

Excellent
This album is definetely the greatest discovery of my fall '08.. Lots of complex rhythms, temposhifts and magnificent production.
