Album Notes
Humble beginnings. Dub poetry, African chant and harmonies, Zimbabwe Mbira, Marimba and Mbakumba drumbeat integrated with the electric influences.

DJ Benny B. (Sydney 93.7 FM)

Head nodding; foot tapping rhythms
Cool head nodding; foot tapping rhythms and yet elements of rage and resentment can be easily picked up from Mashona's husky voice. Awesome.

Chido Mwatita

mesmerising danceable rhythms
Probably the new direction in modern music. An African feel in the very music we already know. Groovy.

Steve Jackson

Absolutely awesome!
This is absolutely awesome! According to my ears. I dont care if the CD will make it or not. Nevertheless, if it does, I will be proud to be one of the first people to have had bought the CD before the artist was famous.
