Album Notes
Well, at probably around the age of twenty Matt finally came to the realization that writing, the alignment of words, was all that really seemed to give him a lasting satisfaction. Life experience was necessary for the young Matt and so after a few years of working meaningless robotic jobs, living around in different rooms and apartments, and dropping out of community college classes Matt left that northern California town and drove up to Seattle in late 2006 to begin a musical collaboration with friend, Jason Jordan. After a year of writing and learning recording techniques, most of which while on unemployment, Matt moved to Portland in the fall of 2007 where he currently resides. In late December 2008 Matt went to work recording and in April of 2009 completed his first album entitled, 'welcome'. Currently songs, poems, short stories, and journals in various forms of completion are all apart of Matt's cumulative efforts.....
