Album Notes
The collection: "For All Seasons: Youth Band Series" was recorded by members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra
under the direction of the Max Stern, arranger-composer at Zaza Studios, Kiryat Shaul, October 3, 2002.

The Performers are members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and their friends:
Boaz Meirovich-flute, Yevgeny Yehudin-clarinet, Guri Agmon-saxophone,
Yigal Meltzer-trumpet, Ruth Stern-trumpet, Michael Slatkin-horn,
Shachar Israel-trombone, Brad Annis-contrabass, Alon Bor-percussion

Conception:
These arrangements were conceived as educational music designed to adapt the diversity of Israel's ethnic musical heritage for school use. They are scored for variable instrumentation from small ensembles to full symphonic band. They are based on traditional Jewish liturgical, folk, ethnic, and popular songs - organized to accompany the events and ceremonies of the Jewish calendar year in Israel today.
