Live music accompaniment for a silent film
I also would like to propose to you my live improvised music accompaniment on my "magic" midi accordion for a silent film.
“He (is) a sort of Russian Rick Wakeman of the button accordion, switches from a conventional instrument to a Midi accordion – a veritable Tardis of an instrument, much more than it appears, from which he coaxes everything from guitar tones and saxophone solos to a James Brown back-up band” Scotsman

surprisingly astounding
Being a fan of gypsy jazz, manouch, western swing, and generally mutant fiddle and accordion music, I was excited to be turned on to this cd. After hearing it, I am astounded. Great virtuoso playing, but more importantly, great humor, and the showmanship comes through on the cd, which is rare indeed. Hope they play in my area, as I'll be there in a heartbeat. Buy this cd if you like any sort of killer violin music, classical or fiddle, and great accordion playing...the REAL accordion.

So Glad I Finally Found This CD
I'd been trying to find this recording for a year, and it was worth the wait. It is just loads of fun and Sarah's violin playing is phenomenal. I had heard Igor and Sarah performing as a duo on an NPR concert and was just blown away; this CD captures their live act well, and has a added advantage of the fuller sound provided by the bass and balalaika support.

music lover
