Album Notes
Mary Beth Carlson Introduction

Mary Beth Carlson is a composer, performing and recording artist and former Teacher of the Year. She was the lead pianist at Nordstrom Mall of America for nearly fifteen years, and for most of those years, manager of the department of pianists. Mary Beth performs nationally as a pianist and speaker for a wide variety of special events. Much of her original music has been composed in honor of her daughter Jody, who was born with cerebral palsy and autism. She has written and performed music specifically for the International Special Olympics, Arc, Children's Cancer Research Fund, and the Alzheimer's Association.
Fortunate to have opportunities to perform for a variety of distinguished audiences, she was particularly honored to have been invited by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to present a concert of restoration to guests from forty countries at The Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. Decision Today, Dr. Graham's nationally syndicated radio program, interviewed her as their featured guest. She’s been invited to participate in disabilities outreach conferences with Joni Eareckson Tada, internationally renowned author, artist and speaker and also performed in concert with Joni at Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. Most recently Mary Beth was interviewed on KTIS Radio in St. Paul, MN for a five day series about her faith story for the Her Journey radio program.
Mary Beth’s piano orchestral arrangements have been featured on several recordings with internationally recognized artists including Sandi Patty, Darlene Zschech, Sheila Walsh, Kelly Willard, Steve Hall, J.D. Steele, Don Moen (“Christmas Worship”) and others.
Mary Beth has produced and recorded eighteen albums of piano orchestral music which are distributed by MBC Productions and also some titles by Integrity Music. Her most recent release is This Day ... A Celebration of Love. Visit Mary Beth at

Robert Gardner

in this quite place
I am a church musician, oboe, EH, Sax, and Arco Bass. I find this album outstanding. I would like to see if the charts for the arrangements are availble.

This, like all the CD's by Mary Beth, is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys quiet background music.

Good listening for me and to share with guests
This is such a good assortment of hymns and songs, some I know well and a few new to me. The variety of instruments with the piano keeps it interesting too. I shared it with house guests, and then bragged the pianist is a cousin of mine whom I have never met. Surely hope to some time.

Robert Alex Mallo (National Recording Artist)

Fun, Loving, Religous, and warming
I give this 5 STARS, everybody should purchase this CD, this CD is like no other!
