Album Notes
Sarah was born in Papua New Guinea, an island south of the equator, off the north coast of Australia. After brief stops in England and Manitoba, the family relocated to Southern Ontario where Sarah continues to make her home. Soon after she graduated college, Sarah was in a head-on collision that left her unable to walk for the better part of a year. During this time Sarah dove into creating her own music and rebuilding her body. After a year of rehab, Sarah headed into the studio and poured all of her experiences into “Sliver of You”, her debut EP. Sarah’s music carries the spirit of folk, while still remaining contemporary and innovative. She creates songs with a life of their own, a cathartic landscape of heartfelt lyrics and sensitive melodies.

Slices right through to the best part of you
What a voice! Her music is soft and melodic without being overly sweet. Her lyrics are honest and open, and there is no divergance from the message. She gives a tantalizing look at all the talent there is inside of her. I am so glad Sarah found a way to share her voice with the world. I can't wait for her next album!

Beautiful...too bad it isn't longer
Sarah's voice is beautiful, and her lyrics are well-timed for me, personally. I've listened to this CD a lot in the past month, as I've been making my way around the U.S. on a long road trip. It was perfect music for getting me through North Dakota. Really beautiful; what more can I say?
