Land of the Fee

by MC Moneypenny

My style is old-school, I'm running away from usury like RUN-DMC in 1983. "Land of the Fee" sticks it to bank of America, Citibank, and the NYPD for their treatment of the American people.

Album Notes
I wrote "Bank of America Land of the Fee" as a followup single to "Tap Dat A$$et" which was regarded by the New York Observer as the Anthem to Occupy Wall Street!
This song is bigger and badder and lists a number of people responsible for the worldwide financial collapse and subsequent recession. The song is an homage to Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" which I deliberately chose because of the wonderful chorus "Don't Push Me Cuz I'm Close to the Edge"... The chorus for "Land of The Fee" is "Don't push us cuz we're close to the edge, we're trying not to lose our home-steads, got loans by the bundle and it makes us wonder what it takes from going under."
