ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Like a lot of people I first heard about The Four Agreemants by Don Miguel Ruiz on Oprah when she mentioned the book had been recommended by the comic Ellen Degeneres as being particulary helpful. I picked up a copy and I'm so glad I did.
Sometime later I got a call to sing at a Sunday service at Unity Church and because I like to plan the music I asked what the lesson would be on. The second of The Four Agreements: Don't take Anything personally> In a quiet time the next day the first song I wrote for this project came through "Don't Take It Personally."

From the reaction of the congragation, I knew I had to write 3 more songs! Well, I wrote 4 more songs! That's how inspiring the book is!

I sang before Don Miguel spoke here in Chicago at Transistions over a year ago and what a thrill that was! Singing the song and meeting him, his family and hearing his wonderful words of wisdom was a blessing.

I am on a roll it seems writing and singing what is now being called "New Thought Music." I just returned from singing at a conference for AGNT - The Assoc. of Global New Thought - and I am filled with new confidance and inspiration that not only is Peace possible, it is inevitable.
I wish you peace,
Live Love Laugh!

Megon is fabuous!! The most original, positive, and uplifting words!!
I have never found songs that are so relavant to remind us to live our lives from an unconditionally loving space. The music & words so easily remain in your head to keep reminding you what wonderful human beings we are and can be. Very enjoyable. I listen to it over and over. I ordered 10 to share with my Women's Circle as gifts.

The C.D. is "Amazing". I listen to it over and over and it makes me feel refresh
I play the song Amazing over and over. It has a meditative quality. It makes me feel more connected somehow to my higher self. The song about assumptions is so good, and boy did I ever relate. I love the Menu song. It is playful and fun and has a great message. The song Don't take it personally, that sure hit home. And of course, your word is your wand, how many times have i opened my big mouth to later regret it. It's really a great C.D. I loved it....and Megon has a fabulous, light quality to her voice, that makes you want to just play it over and over.
Thanks so much Megon! You are an inspiration.

Wonderful! Correctly represents the concepts in a delightful musical manner.
Megon has accurately captured the essence of the 4 agreements and put it together musically in a way that is not only delightful to listen to, but it also makes remembering them so much easier. The songs stick in my head and remind me that this is the way to a better life.
