ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Inspired by Nat King Cole's Classic Jazz Trio, Meredith Patterson, recorded this 3 song Jazz EP in New York City on a rainy afternoon accompanied by the talented Tedd Firth (piano), Tom Hubbard (upright bass), and Warren Vache (cornet). Meredith has a buttery intoxicating and cozy sound to her voice and that easy old school 1950's style that will make you wish she had recorded a full album.

Love the sounds!
Meredith has listened to old jazz from the 50s and 60s since she was child...my fault. As her father and jazz musician she was subjected to all the old classics and I guess it took hold. Her style is what I love and she does is so well with the emotions that go with the songs. Very proud of this work of hers and really think a full album is much needed. This style is a gift and should always be part of our culture.
