ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Comin’ Home is a captivating, inspirational collection of songs about life,
love, and the excitement of living, derived from the experiences of growing up in a small rural setting in the Midwest. All of the songs on this album are authored by Michael J Thoma,
whose travels and search to find himself brought him to a final destination;
the making and performing his own music.

Mike's smooth, rich, and mellow voice, add to the vivid picture painted in
every song. Mike's heart can be "heard" as he pulls you into the songs story
as if you were there. Mike brings his own warmth and sincerity to his Music
in what has been described as "retro country". "I would rather start
a new trend than follow an old one", are the words he lives by, and are so
evident in his songs. A child of the folk era, Mike has carved a unique
style that is easy to listen to and can be described best as roots and Americana, a mixture of folk,
country, and blue grass.
On either side of either ocean, his music is moving toward an iconic
status in the world we live in.

WOW WOW WOW!!!
If you like a little bit of country/bluegrass mix then you will just love this album. All of the songs are done very nice and Mike has a real easy to listen to voice. The music is "tow tappen" good. While I listened I could not help but start to sing along - I just got caught up in the stories. Great work Mike - give some more!!
