Peaceful, Relaxing Piano Music
Recently I started searching CD Baby for some calming, relaxing music, either piano or guitar, and one of the items I found in this search was this recording by Michael McGregor. I like this album very much. The sound quality of the recording is very good, and the performance by Michael is excellent. The compositions are, more or less by definition, not as complex as jazz or classical music, but harmonic complexity and technical expertise can be distracting when you're trying to kick back and relax. Michael's playing is very good; his touch and his time are excellent.

Michael calls this album "solo piano, new age music for easy listening." I think it achieves its goal very admirably. If you're looking for music to play while painting, writing, relaxing, meditating, etc., I think you'll enjoy this one very much.
