Album Notes

“Wanted Dead or Alive” – a gritty 80s rock anthem that was a massive hit for Bon Jovi on their 1986 album Slippery When Wet – might seem like an unusual choice for a 12-year-old girl to cover. Michelle Creber is not your average child singer, though; backed solidly by multi-instrumentalist/arranger Andrew Stein, she rocks out on the lead vocal with style that’s far beyond her years. She’s the real deal, and like the song says: she plays for keeps!

Written by: Jon Bon Jovi & Richard Sambora

Lead vocals by: Michelle Creber
All instrumentation by: Andrew Stein
Backing vocals by: Natalie Sharp
Engineered & mixed by: Misha Rajaratnam
Mastered by: Chris Potter
Arrangement by: Andrew Stein
Produced by: Monique Creber

Brilliant version of this classic, the variation of her singing styles really shows in this song, looking forward to hearing more from Michelle in the future, will definitely be keeping a close eye on her.

Easily worth a dollar, and deserving of its glowing reviews.
It stays true to the original song, but still has the perfect amount of "uniqueness".

This kid rocks!
I am one of those who calls myself a "brony." Thus, I first heard Michelle sing as Sweetie Belle on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Anybody who has seen certain episodes of that show know why I'm giving such high praise to her.

Michelle has one of the purest voices I've heard in a female singer in a long time. I think we've only seen the tip of the iceberg so far.

You'll love this song FOREVER!!!
Michelle Creber has an excellent and unique voice. My initial reason for becoming a fan was due to her voice acting of Apple Bloom in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but once I heard her other work, I really enjoyed it too -- enough to purchase the song. This is something I rarely do, so I would like to think that says something about the quality of her work. I'm sure I'll always think of her as Apple Bloom but years from now, I think she'll be known by most people for her fantastic music instead.

Michelle Creber and Andrew Stein are outstanding in covering this Bon Jovi classic. How a young singer like Michelle can bring out that renegade feel of the original, I don't know, but she does it, and with her own unique flair! Meanwhile, Andrew's handling of the music is fantastic, bringing a bit of his own touch to it with a more acoustic feel similar to the "Unplugged" version, and that bridging solo will make you want to rock out just as much as the Sambora original.

I love this song.
I haven't bought a song since... well, ever. This song was good enough to make me spend money on it.

It's been a very long time since I last heard a girl around the age of 12 with such a beautiful singing voice whose also not just talented in singing but acting as well!
I've never bought a song online before out of principle but for this I'm more than happy to make an exception.
You have a bright life ahead of you Michelle, don't make it go to waste.
