Michelle Knollhoff, also known under her stage name, MichelleK is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. After pursuing a classical at the Boston Conservatory from 2004 – 2005, she transferred to and finished her degree with an emphasis in Music at Webster University in 2009, studying under the direction of St. Louis Jazz great, Debby Lennon.
Michelle has been singing professionally since 2008, being featured in bands such as Some Fun, The X, Project 324, The Charles Glenn Band, Featherstone Drive, The Road Kings, Free Pancakes, Renegade, and Spontaneous Serendipity to name a few. Post college she started her own lesson studio known as C2C (Classical 2 Contemporary), which received much success and recognition. After closing the studios doors in 2011, Michelle took a short hiatus from St. Louis to pursue other life adventures.
A few of her recent accomplishments and projects include the 12th edition of Lake Ozark Idol, being a Top 5 Finalist in the Kansas City Chiefs 2012 Voice of the Kingdom National Anthem Contest, and was Final 12 for the ABC reality show Duets to which she had the opportunity to fly to Los Angeles to audition for the infamous R&B singer, John Legend. Michelle is also on the National Anthem roster of singers for the St. Louis Blues hockey team and University of Missouri Athletics Department (Mizzou). She is working on her first independent feature album titled Letting Go due out Spring 2013, and is currently being considered for Americas Got Talent!
