Album Notes
Mike was born in Fall River Massachusetts. The middle child of eight, Things were crowded around the house and money was in short supply. To make ends meet, Mike’s dad Frank had several side jobs including playing guitar in area bars and night clubs with several bands. There were always instruments around the house and a parade of guitarists to watch and try to copy. There were also lots of records and tapes around the house. Mike’s four older siblings always had music from the Beatles, Hollies, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and more playing. Dad had Roy Clark, Les Paul, Elvis, Roger Miller and Herb Albert, Buck Owens, ....

From the late 70's through 2003 Mike played in all kids of bands in places smaller than a garage to arenas holding thousands. These included Haze, ShowKase, Cyrus Zane, Special Edition, Straight, Stevie V and the Machine, Prairie Fire, P3,Bounty Hunter and several bands as a hired gun. After surgery for thyroid cancer in 2003 he was told he may not speak again for the second time after throat surgery. Not one to quit, after just 6 weeks Mike was back on stage playing lead guitar with his friends in Bounty Hunter. A few weeks later he was singing again but health knocked him off the road again in 2005. This is when Mike started concentrating on writing and recording the songs presented here. Some are older songs that he wrote years ago and have been remade and others are fresh off the pad. Now back to full health and full speed, Mike is itching to play in public again. Now living in NY/NJ area, there should be plenty of opportunities. We’ll keep you posted.
