Hyar's a FOREWORD fum my pub-lisher feller:
"My first exposure to hillbilly culture occurred recently when an envelope was handed to me while having
lunch in a Southern California sports bar. As I conversed with the patron on the stool next to me, He smiled
when I told him that I was a CEO in a publishing firm. As he reached into his pocket and pulled out the envelope,
he explained that a letter had accidentally been delivered to his address and that he had opened it before he
realized the posyman's mistake. He added that he planned to see that it got to the proper recipient, but since I
was a connoisseur of fine literature, he thought I would appreciate reading it first. It took me a a second read
to decipher the scrawling handwriting and the gross misspelling. As I continued to read, an image formed in
my mind of the author of the piece. He was obviously writing to a close female acquaintance, and it seemed
genuine. I looked at the address; S.J. Suggins, Route #4, box 9, Buford Springs, Arkansas. I copied the name
and address and vowed to get in touch with said author of the letter as soon as I got back to my desk. I drafted
a letter to Mr. Suggins asking if he'd be interested in meeting me to discuss a publication deal. Things evolved
rather quickly, and this CD is the result. It offers a unique approach to Hillbilly culture and humor. I not only
hope, but am sure that you will enjoy it from start to finish."
