Album Notes
With this record, I wanted to make something timeless. And when I say timeless, I don't just mean music that would stand up well ten years from now; I wanted to make an album that would resonate whether you're 2, 22 or 102.

This is a collection of songs for anyone who's young-at-heart, or wishes they were.

The underlying theme of the album is the importance of expressing ourselves, whether through dancing or dreaming, singing or screaming - let it out.

This is a great record!
I love this cd. Mike Schmid has succeeded with his wish to make a record that would resonate whether one is 2, 22, or 102. The songs are incredible. The lyrics and melodies are masterfully arranged, and his voice is my favourite kind of voice-without affect or posturing. The songs transport me emotionally and visually. It's like I've entered another beautiful and mysterious world, or this every-day world has become more wonderful, or both. He is the real deal, a true artist. You can tell. The entire collection of songs is stellar, but my favourite song is "Dream". It's a perfect song. I dare you to listen to this record once and not immediately replay it. I'm looking for more stars because 5 isn't enough. Bravo.
