ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Military Special was begun by Joe Schweigert and Peter Blomgren in the Summer of 2007 in their home town of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Both of them formerly played in Look Down.

James Shaff has been with the band off and on since its inception; Charlie Smith joined on synths in December 2007, and in 2008 the band welcomed Danell Norby and Matt Robshaw.

2008 saw the band release the Military Special EP and play over 40 shows in the Twin Cities, including spots opening for Jeans Team, Shout Out Out Out and Jupiter One.

Civil Union is the band's debut full-length album.
