The Meaning of the Word Love

by Mindrite

If Michael Jackson (in his prime) dropped LSD and made a contemporary hard rock/metal album, this may be what it would sound like. Dynamic, hard rock with pop sensibilities.

Album Notes
Mindrite is a five piece heavy rock band which is prolific and emphatic about the writing, publishing and distribution of their music on an independent level. Hailing from the obscure regions of Des Moines, IA, Mindrite has managed to build a formidable following all over their region. They are the recent winners of the "Opening Act Contest" in Des Moines where they were voted by their city to open up for Godsmack. Mindrite is attracting a lot of attention from a lot of people in and out of the business with their fourth release "The Meaning of the Word Love/ (Release date September 14th, 2007)" With a major label quality recording and 13 songs that keep your attention the entire way, this album is sure to take Mindrite to another level. Check it out for yourself, as the music is as original as it is crisply produced and recorded.

Different, But In A Good Way!
When I first got this CD, I was sort of dissapointed. I've been listening to Mindrite since Author Of Addiction and I missed the heavy rock of The Xenocide. Espial got my hopes up with Unveiled Confession, but then Razing the Sun dropped and Mindrite dived into a monsterous prog era. I'll tell you, though, I liked Razing the Sun. When I got Meaning Of The Word Love, I knew it wouldn't be The Xenocide Chapter 7. After listening to "Hail The Queen" and "Driver" on rock radio, I knew it was going to get interesting. As I listened to the album more and more, I learned to love it. Spencer and company have definitely raised the bar with this one. Good job!

The best Mindrite release so far, on all fronts. Period.
