Album Notes
Written by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart, (1939) for the Musical Too Many Girls, this song was later sung by Frank Sinatra in the score of the film version of Pal Joey (1957). The song became very popular and has been recorded by many artists, including Julie Andrews, Tony Bennett, Betty Carter, Ernestine Anderson, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Dinah Shore, Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Holiday. In this vocal/piano rendition, Miriam Is accompanied by the great Stephen Newcomb on piano.
