ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
MIX is an award winning contemporary a cappella group from the University of Colorado Denver. Their debut EP, "Breaking Ground (Reissued)" was originally released under the group's previous name — UCD 6. Produced and recorded by tenor member, Luis Sandoval, the EP showcases the group's take on songs by some of pop music's most iconic writers and performers. The EP also showcases an original song (Water), written by soprano member Vanessa Spear.

Every year or two membership in the group changes because of the nature of being in a collegiate group. However, each group adds new elements that strengthen MIX's musical legacy. This album is not only a cornerstone in the foundation of the future of MIX, but a tribute to everyone who has been part of the growth and success of this incredible group throughout the years.
