Felt the Rain

Written 2010 - At a lone piano sitting in a small Plywood church half way across the world; I learned another lesson on how the soul of music could break apart the cement around my heart to provide another layer of love and strength to persevere.

Album Notes
My music began its journey in 2010 with a very good friend showing me something that had been there all along; that I could write music! Not traditional music with pen to paper, but an off the cuff version where as I heard the guitar playing, lyrics would flow freely from lips without the barrier of my mind telling me what I should and shouldn’t say. In those short few months we wrote songs that made us laugh, cry, sorrowful, and alive. Songs that will never be heard, but will always be in our souls, reminding us that life goes on. Pain, love, anger, heartache, resolve, faith, and our souls…will go on.

The music I’ve written since those days have been with my guitar, and a few with my piano. I ended up finding a studio with some gentlemen that took some of my simple music to a different level; which is where Felt the Rain comes in.

It’s the somewhat R&B version to a simple piano and vocals melody. Written by a woman that sat half way across the world, in a tiny plywood church, releasing the living nightmares of her day to keep her sanity through the next night.
