ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I've always loved the musical picture painted by soul singers and cantorial masters because both provide listeners with moving improvisatory riffs within the context of soulful melodies. These expressive colors bring lyrics and prayers to life while giving singers and instrumentalists the opportunity to explore the infinite colors of their voices or instruments. This album evolved out of my desire to hear liturgical music groove a little harder.

I am so thankful to have worked with extraordinary musicians and artists who have enriched this musical conversation eternally. In our musical pursuit , we found ourselves creating a Motown-like prayer experience that is "Jewish Soul". Settle into the grooves, enjoy this new take on old melodies and find the meeting place of your voice, soul and spirit.
