Album Notes
The Landing is the first full length album from Seattle's own Moon. It is a mixture of rock, ska, reggae, dub and even calypso. One can almost say The Landing is a trip through the Caribbean. Moon is a four man band who's members are Ben Dorcy - vocals, saxophone, Luke Swart - bass & vocals, Ken Cruz - drums vocals, and Robin Ray - guitar, keyboards, and vocals. One thing that makes them stand apart from most other rock/ska bands is the fact that their lead singer (who plays guitar and sings lead in the Ben Dorcy Screamo Trio) is also their entire horn section and soloist.
