ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
„The Story of Rey & Earl“ is a musical comedy about our Rhenanian granduncles who emigrated to the US in 1920 to reach out for their fortune. But what they found was prohibition, sex, crime -- and jazz.
After their illegal „Moonshine Liquor“ distillery was washed away by the 1927 Louisiana Flood, the two bootleggers tramped to the West until they reached the limits of their homesickness. Have they ever found their American Dream? Find out by listening to our journey through three decades of popular music!
