ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Morella's Forest, veterans of indie rock for nearly a decade, have created their most engaging pop album to date: Tiny Lights of Heaven. TLOH is the fourth full-length album by Dayton, Ohio's Morella's Forest.

Comprised of Sydney Rentz (vocals), Shawn Johnson (guitars/keys), Joel Votaw (bass), and Jesse Sprinkle (drums), the group's music is rounded out by equal parts driving guitar lines, candy pop, and keyboard-infused new-wave quirkiness.

What a crime that I was five-years late...
This genre really grabs me... I've linked a few people to the samples and they were as impressed as I was. Morella's Forest band-members have a real gift for "playing for the song". Nice ensemble workmanship... and spot-on engaging vocals without being cloyingly-sweet. For me, the only downside would be the "christian-band" designation they receive from the press. I don't hear it, hence my purchase.
But, since I have no desire to mix religion and music, I had to carefully consider what I was purchasing.
Luckily for me, it can be (and is) enjoyed dogmatically independant.

very good CD.
I can't believe no one made a review about this great CD yet!... Anyway, all the songs are great and the singer's voice isn't too annoying.Lullaby is a very beautiful song.

I can't Believe what I'm hearing
I absolutely cannot believe this blissful bouncy wonderful sound is coming from a christian band.. I am amazed.. its given me new faith in the genre... if only more people would follow suit..
