ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Loud and sweaty. Quiet and hoarse. Just as bands like The Replacements did,
The Most Beautiful Losers play for the people. They love the dark. They like the dirge.
They ride that razors edge between falling apart and blowing your mind. It's as simple as that.
They write genuine heart on your sleeve blue-collar songs for overeducated slackers.
With a live show that is nothing short of passionate, this band refuses to lay down and die.
Come out and lose your mind. Come out and buy them a beer.
Come out and sing until you are coughing up blood. They will be.

Top 10 albums of 2011
This is one of the top 10 albums I've listened to in 2011. In this follow up to "Wreckage", which is by far one my my favorite albums of all times these guys carry on the drunk rock craft that has been perfect through years of touring and eating shit. Sometimes fun, sometimes dark, this is the real deal...

Gritastic
Beer-soaked, ambivalent, and noisy, this album is like one of those benders you indulge in for the sheer adrenalin rush, even though the hangover the next morning is guaranteed to be painful. "MPB" is the sort of album that could only have come from a gritty transitional city like Canton, and MBL continues to honor their hometown with tracks that walk a tipsy line between fun and funereal. Love it.
