ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mourad's second album self title "Mourad" has finally arrived. Houlouni is truly a masterpiece while "Lila" and "Zine" make you want to get up and dance to these high energy full beat dance tracks. "Hiati Hadi" is a song that depicts the struggles of a hopeless Moroccan teenager. Finally take an epic journey by listening to "Nabghik 100%" a song destined for a SiFi movie sound track release.
And there is a bonus! For the Moroccan Chaabi lovers you can hear Mourad's cuts of Alowa and Chalini done like they have never been done before.

This CD is outstanding
This CD is outstanding, where has this guy been? I am originally from Oran and love Rai Music. I love Khaled and Mami and I am very critical of those who try to imitate. My god, Mourad is by far way up there. This guy writes, sings, and produces his own music. Best of luck ya akhi!!! I am telling all my friends about this album. I have had it in my car and I have bee listening to it for 4 weeks in a row now. I love it!!! Lila..lila…lila lila lila!!!!

Mourad’s best effort yet
This is by far Mourad’s best effort yet. This album is a must for everyone that loves Middle eastern or North African Music. The album contains songs with different styles including Dance, Hip Hop, Rai, and Moroccan Chaabi. In this album Mourad sings in 3 different language, English, French, and Arabic. 'Lila' is a high energy full beat dance song, arguably the best tune in the entire album. This is one of those songs you plug in your car on your way to a party Saturday night. I have already heard this song at major international clubs in the New York/DC area and it kicks!!! Another song that I feel is going to be a hit for Mourad is 'Elila Nfaji'. This is a main stream Rai beat, a songs that you can’t get out of your head after you listen to it a couple of times. You are going to love this album.

One of the best CDs...awsome music :)
I don't really have all the words to describe how amazing this CD is, and how coooooool Mourad's music is, you've got to get it to know what I'm talking about...
Since I got my hand on this CD, I've been listening to it everyday, I have a copy in my car and another one in my house. "Lila" is by far a master's work, I love its beat and "Chalili" is out of this world. You really need to get this piece of Moroccan art.
Good luck Mourad.

An International Star in the Making !
Before you hit the club, you got to listen to "Lila", it will set your mood straight and get you going for the night. If you are looking to contemplate life:) you need to listen to "Hiati Hadi".
There is really a little something for everyone regardless of where one may be from or what kind of music one may like. Talent and creativity are abundant. This CD should be on everyone's "Must Own list", really great!!
Wishing Mourad continuous success and I can't wait to see what he is going to do next.

This CD is very very cool!
This is one of the best CDs i've ever heard of an indipendent artist. I have to thank my friends in College Park that introduced me to this music that will remind me the wonderful period i spent smoking shisha in DC.

two thumbs up
MIN Koli fan tarab (a demo from each style). Mourad was able to integrate different styles of music into one rythm and in one CD. This is so far one of the best original albums from an independent artist. Looking toward the coming CDs.
Good luck

Cynthia

I wouldn’t mine adding it to my CD collection.
I was recently encouraged by a classmate to checkout Mourad’s CD. I was somewhat skeptic, as I am American and usually find Middle Eastern or Arabic music to be a bit too belly “dancie.” After listing to this CD I have to admit that I like many of the songs. Mourad does a great job incorporating jazz, house and even a little hip hop. I can’t comment on his pervious CDs, as I have not heard them, but this is definitely one I wouldn’t mine adding to my CD collection.
