ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Marialy Pacheco is a young and extremely talented pianist from La Habana, Cuba. At the academy of music she discovered her passion for musical heroes like Oscar Peterson and Keith Jarrett.
She won the young talents award and went to Germany to record this CD with two reknown musicians, a double bass player and a drummer. Playful, lyrical and sometimes powerful too, Marialy invents and walks around her own melodies. Further more, she uncages well-known songs from their tradition - in a touching fashion !
