Album Notes
The sound of the South is alive and well in this stellar debut from one of R&B's hottest rising stars. "26" is the debut album from Muhammad Ayers, aptly titled for it's significance because in his words it has taken 26 years to develop a sound that is as rich in spirit, diverse, and soulful as Mr. Ayers himself. It is not often that an artist comes along that is not only a gifted singer in his own right, but who also produced, wrote, and performed all of his own material himself. That's right, every sound that you will hear, from the open spaced club smash "V.I.P.", to the near live instrumentations and arrangements of "Forgive me", all the way to the sure fire radio hits of "Nothing Better", and "Call Me", everything was performed, and concieved by Mr. Ayers himself. Drawing from such influences as Stevie Wonder to Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes, Muhammad has always stood by and believed in being self-sufficient, so that he may bring you the best that he has to offer as an artist. And quite frankly, we believe that his mission, has been accomplished.

This album is HOT. Muhammad is one talented R&B singer, songwriter and producer. He is a major R&B star in the making. Can somebody tell me why this cat isn't signed to a major label and sitting high in the charts? Get onto Muhammad Ayers before everybody else find out bout him.

Awesome Sound
Mohammed Ayers 26 is an awesome CD. He performed along with the Michael Foster Project at my wedding and everyone after the wedding was like "Where did you find these guys?". Six months later, the buzz is still how great the entertainment was. This CD is only a taste of what this guy is capable of. This is a must have. Place this CD in your Ipod rotation between Usher, Kem and Anthony Hamilton and you will be surprised of how his sound blends in with the majors.
