ABOUT ROCKING GUITAR BLUES:
Cool Blues, Hot Blues w/ distorted riffs poured from a cracked mason jar on the guitar platter of Sound!
Imagine you've got a time machine, going back to when guitar players ruled the earth (1968-1969).
You step out to be greeted by guitar-god, Eric Clapton and the guitar police, BB KING, Duane Allman and Jimi Hendrix. Buddy Guy observes from a distance.
Together everyone is transported by air to the stage of Woodstock where Carlos Santana is making his debut. Long screaming guitar blues solos is the norm here.
Backstage, guitar players are everywhere, even the wanna-be guitar players. The effect of so many guitar players is so profound that even vocalist Joe Cocker also pretends to play his imaginary ax that actually isn't there. (thirty-something years later, he's still not recovered).
Meanwhile, back in 2008, where some say that the days of old-time rocking guitar blues are over - someone forgot to tell the members of MUSIC 2...a group of musicians who live technical but play in a dimensional time zone that echoes the sounds of Gibson and Fender's purple haze syrup across the musical landscapes of the land of OZ.
Therefore we introduce our second installment of Rocking Guitar Blues in the style of the late 1960's. An album full of great songs like House Of The Rising Sun and our own rare blues renditions of Amazing Grace and America.
All guitar instrumentals that rock! What's cooler?
Link Wray would understand.
