Roscoe Paradise and Lamont Zodiac of My Little Life are both veterans of the Detroit music scene. After being out of touch for more than a decade, Don Was brought the two back together over dinner in 2010. Roscoe and LZ quickly formed a songwriting partnership, and have been pumping out songs ever since.
Stylistically, they cover a lot of ground. Their eponymous 2012 album was nothing if not eclectic—everything from garage rock to Americana. Their new EP, Angry City, focuses on their R&B roots. They already have enough songs for several future releases and they're writing and recording more all the time.
If your musical tastes are broad, you might want to start following My Little Life. They've got a lot of surprises in store.
