ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For "Roll Away the Stone" the MQ Live Crew headed into the Devil's Workshop to recreate their live show in a studio setting. Downtempo, dub and jazz are the main ingredients that back up the soulful vocals of Ashley "Lady B" Butler, Gabrielle Flowers & Ed Lanier whose gospel stylings are reminiscent of the Staples Singers. Nineteen-year-old Crescent Ulmer, a talented singer/songwriter in her own right, provides lead vocals on 3 tracks. The album also features a hauntingly chilled version of Nirvana's "Endless Nameless." This is your chance to experience a Mystikos Quintet performance in the privacy of your own home. Tasty!
