New England-based songwriter-singer-pianist Nadine Laughlin's debut CD 'Beautiful Mystery' contains 10 original songs ranging from solo piano and voice ('Beautiful Mystery' and 'Staying') to rich and haunting Irish-whistle filled pieces ('Pray for Grace' and 'Almost Gone') to strong band and thick harmony laden songs (like 'What If' and 'Broken Glass'). She has very special guest contributions by Gordon Bok, and by Matthew Heaton of "Siucra".
The songs tell the stories of the sorrows and joys of real life, and the beauty and strength of the human spirit that carries and leads us through.

Some unsolicited comments from listeners:
" 'Beautiful Mystery' is hands down the most touching and inspiring songwriting, composing, and performing I've heard. You have a powerful ability to convey the emotions, the feelings of the songs."
"Your singing and your compositions are, to me, one and the same. And by that I mean they are so naked, true, sincere, natural, unaffected, and beautiful, that at times I feel like I'm eaves dropping on you. This honesty is what music was originally based on, and what it needs today."
"Such a beautiful thing you have made; so honest, so heartfelt, and clear. Thank you. Bless you."
"At the first note my breath draws in, my heart stops. I sit on the edge of my bed - coffee and oatmeal growing cold and forgotten - as I sit transfixed by sound and words. The music ...warm, full of love, tears, and beauty....."
