Album Notes
"A&R" is a collection of intricate singles, ordered in pairs, on the band's own label, TNTS Records. These five Chicago natives are a makeshift, genre-bending orchestra. Elaborating on live loops, drones, & samples, The Names That Spell create a very high noise to noisemaker ratio while pursuing cathartic interwoven harmonies. This is an album about Superted, Orange Juice, Marinated Ukuleles, Baptisms, Sea Cucumbers, & Sea Urchins. Touch it.

I really enjoy listening to this brilliant band! Each song is musically complex, creative with interesting colors, has grooving rhythms, yet is user friendly to listen to at the same time. Highly recommended!
