Nancy is married to the love of her life, Sam. They have two children. She is a 1974 Baylor graduate. She taught middle school English and Speech/Drama in the Rio Grande Valley (in Mission, Texas, her hometown) for three years and then one year in Aledo, Texas, west of Fort Worth. After marriage she and Sam went for three years as missionaries to Brazil. Since their return to the States in '83, she has actively been involved in churches in Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Texas where her husband has been the senior pastor. In 1992 she and Sam moved to the Northeast Tarrant County area and started Bear Valley Community Church. Currently Sam is working on various projects and teaching seminary classes at B. H.
