Nancy Newman has performed/recorded with acclaimed Canadian musicians: Michael Creber (k.d.lang, Raffi, Irish Rovers), Rene Worst (Skywalk, Jennifer Scott), Buff Allen (Johnny Hartman, Lennie Breau, Teddy Wilson), Tom Keenlyside (Dizzy Gillespie, Natalie Cole, Phoebe Snow, Jann Arden), and Robbie Steininger (live 2010 Olympics with k.d.lang, Sarah Mclaughlin, Bryan Adams).
Influenced and mentored by legendary American Jazz artists Nancy King (Grammy nominee-Best Jazz Vocalist), Mark Murphy (6 Grammy nominations-Best Vocal Jazz Performance) and Sheila Jordan (NEA Jazz Master Award), Nancy Newman has also studied with outstanding contemporary musicians: Jennifer Scott, Kate Hammett-Vaughan (Juno nominee), Rhiannon, Sachal Vasandani, and Kim Nazarian (New York Voices-Grammy winner).
In addition to this eclectic Jazz collection titled You Never Know, Nancy Newman has also recently released and co-produced an album of dreamy original songs called Palace of the Moon.
