The New Voice of Soul
Natércia Pintor was born in Mozambique and moved to Portugal at two weeks of age.
She was born a musician, and has a deep love and talent for singing.
She was so driven and passionate about music, that at the age of 16, she began working to pay for her voice lessons, and also joined a cover band as their lead vocalist. While pursuing her dream, she has appeared on television programs such as; Principals, Big Show SIC, Estrelas do Mar and numerous others. With 18 years old, she became the lead vocalist of one more cover band with which performed throughout the country and was named the 2006/2010 official Vodafone Rock in Rio band.
At the same time, she joined the Gospel Choir of Lisbon with which she performed in tribute to some big Portuguese singers such as, Amália Rodrigues, Simone de Oliveira in large Portuguese cultural houses of spectacle such as: Centro Cultural de Belém, Coliseum dos Recreios, Jardim Botânico.
Natércia also sang on Portugueses cruises and had participated in some festivals such as: Fuse & Jazz (a festival that takes place every year which focuses on upcoming artists in the area of Soul & Jazz), Festival Charity for children with cancer.
One of her biggest accolades to date was being selected the best voice of McDonald’s in Portugal as part of a global competition.
In the Portuguese judges were Susana Félix, Renato Júnior among others.
Voice of McDonald’s II had 3,600 entries, and Natercia was selected to represent Portugal in Orlando, Florida (USA) against the other top 13 contestants.
Natércia was accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra and performed to an audience of 15,000. She was unanimously awarded first place by 3 judges who are all renowned in the music business; Ken Hertz (agent/lawyer for artists such as, Will Smith, Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, Gwen Stafani, No Doubt, The Black Eyed Peas, Herbie Hancock, Britney Spears, and Ne-Yo), Jody Gerson (Co-President of Sony ATV; Nora Jones and others), Ne-Yo (singer/songwriter of songs such as; So Slick, Closer and composer for Beyonce and Rhianna); and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (producer, songwriter and promoter for such names as, Whitney Houston, Destiny’s Child, Spice Girls, Toni Braxton, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Pussycat Dolls, Mary J. Bilge, Beyonce, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Anastacia, Lady Gaga and others).
Having experienced Natércia’s performance and being moved by her humility, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins offered her the opportunity to record a song produced exclusively for her great voice at his studio in Los Angeles, California recording studio.
Rodney got to know Natércia personally and wrote her an excellent and soulful ballad titled “With a Dream”, which portrays her life’s ambition, and was written with her in mind, a fighter who will never give up on her dream of music and will always be hopeful that she will be given this opportunity, just as the lyrics say.
She has been immortalized in the USA as a “wild horse”, a nickname lovingly given to her by Tamara Anderson. Tamara is an internationally acclaimed voice teacher and singer. She works with many stars and top producers and songwriters. Together, with Mark Goff and Ken Clifton (both are acclaimed vocal coaches and very musically talented), taught Natércia vocal and acting techniques, and stage presence for two weeks in Orlando.
All agreed that this young Natércia had great talent and was a treasure, and a wonderful discovery...!
Back home and think about her first work/Cd, Natércia encountered several invitations to write and join in projects of other artists.
Not losing sight of your dream, step by step Natércia Painter was realizing her dream of launching her first CD. She also write their own lyrics, demonstrated immense value in her own lyrics that speak of values of the world through her voice.
Referred as the new voice of soul, Natércia completed her work entitled, My Soul.
Natércia Pintor, as an independent, offers to all his friends and followers 6.000 Cd's My Soul, properly registered in SPA, preparing herself to achieve with the help of all, the silver disk...!
My Soul Cd was presented in a live show-case for the first time on Radio Africa/live broadcast audience (Group RTP), broadcast throughout the country and through the African continent.
Back to the United States, Natércia has performed twice to an audience of 15,000 in Orlando and was accompanied by an orchestra, and she was accompanied by another band in the second concert, which included professional musicians who play to/with names such as Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys among others...!
Natércia led the 15,000 spectators to the applause through a brilliant performance, in the spectators were names such as:

Natércia back to Portugal for Tour presentation, had festivals, concerts FNAC throughout Portugal as well as interviews for RTP, TVI, SIC and magazines.
Invited to participate in special musical/events Natércia has gained new ground.
Her music can be heard on Radio Africa, Radio UltraFM, Radio Swindon, Radio Life, Radio Marinhais, Radio Always, among others.
Voice chosen by the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Logistel to create and interpret the anthem of the new Faculty of Management to usher in Angola during 2012.
At present, apart from continuing Natércia on tour with his album is a voice teacher and singer in various musical projects in which she was invited to work.
