Album Notes
Food For Thought was created by Nature Jams to give children a fun way to learn about food, nutrition and the importance of eating a healthy diet. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles and empower children by singing songs about where food comes from, supporting local organic agriculture, eating whole foods, and fostering feelings of gratitude and enjoyment for nature’s bounty.
We send special thanks to Avery Moore-Macguiness for her vocal solo, Jordan Leitner on harmonica, Gordon Lippinncott on lead guitar and dobro, and Aaron Poole on lunch lady dialogue on “Choose My Plate”. Many thanks to Dustin Frohlich for lyrical contributions on “Avocado”. We thank Maggie, Fiona, and Felix Connolly, and Lucas and Mitchell Ladin for their vocals on “What’s For Lunch?”. We also extend a big thank you to Lyric, Beckham, Zoe, Kenna, Brad, Anthony, Michael, and Macy at Lancashire Elementary for singing on “Sweet Beets”. Nice Tikka Tikka’s!
All other vocal and instrumental performances and production were by Rob Young and Zach Ladin.
Nature Jams would like to express our deepest gratitude for the limitless support of our family and friends who have helped inspire and encourage us, without whom this album would not have been possible.

Have a smile!
Rob and Zach
